F.A.Q.

“Matt Danger?” Really?
Yeah, I know.

No seriously. Really?
Oh. When I was younger and my friends would ask me what my middle name was I would jokingly say “Danger” as a way to avoid disclosing personal information. I was short so it was partially intended to be ironic. Girls seemed to be intrigued by this.

So this whole alias thing has derived from your attempts to impress girls?
Yes.

That’s really, really lame.
Well, there’s more… I used it as my username on forums and email accounts. Then, when I started to do freelance development work I would sign my emails as “Matt Danger” and it caught people’s attention. I had unintentionally created a brand for myself.

Still lame.

What?
I’m sorry, what?

You muttered something.
No, I was talking to someone in the other room. Did you say something?

I said that establishing a brand based on irony is lame.
Please phrase your insults in the form of a question.

Ugh. You know that you stole this whole F.A.Q. from Roostertooth?
Yes, and they stole it from Monty Python.

Well played.
Thank you.
