Avus tires mounted!

Had Jason @ Blackforest resubmit the General tire order. Mounted the 18″ Avus wheels. The color is too dark.
Ray, Mikey, and I drove down to PA to get some fireworks.

The Michelin Pilots I ordered are too wide and are very close to rubbing the front control arms. I had Jason send them back and order me a set of General 225/45/18 instead.
Avus wheels are finally finished

The Avus wheels I bought a few months ago are finally finished. After several failed painting attempts I got a good final product. I used Duplicolor wheel paints. I’m not happy with the final color, it’s too dark. I should have used the OEM Wurth paint. Ordered some Michelin Pilots from Jason. He has 2 235/45/18s sitting around from a Lambo. I ordered two new ones along with a set of 10mm spaces & long bolts to keep them from rubbing the front control arms.
New wheel project

I purchased a set of used 18″ Avus wheels. They have some curb marks so I’m going to sand, fill and repaint them.
